The Daejeon Public Procurement Service (PPS) announced that, among the 60 products designated as Excellent Procurement Products in the 3rd round of 2025, nine products developed by companies in the Daejeon and Chungnam regions were selected.
The selected regional companies include Nano Electronics Corp., Kunjang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., EPIA Co., Ltd., The Wave Talk Co., Ltd., F2B Co., Ltd., Daekwang Industrial Co., Ltd., Korea Comprehensive Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., Buhung System Co., Ltd., and Jungang Altech Co., Ltd.
Their products—ranging from nanofiber-based anti-icing systems, high-airtight insulated windows, seismic-resistant windows, asphalt reinforcement materials, air circulation units, to expansion joint systems—were recognized for their technological innovation and practical applicability.
In particular, Nano Electronics Corp. of Daejeon received high evaluation for its “Copper Nano Heating Surface Snow-Melting System,” an anti-icing technology that utilizes nanofibers to significantly reduce both installation and operating costs. Daekwang Industrial Co., Ltd. of Cheonan was also recognized for its window products that enhance energy efficiency through superior airtightness and insulation performance.
Meanwhile, Buhung System Co., Ltd. of Yesan County was selected for its expansion joint system designed to block the ingress of foreign substances, thereby improving durability.
The Excellent Procurement Product Designation System is a program under which products from small and early-stage mid-sized enterprises with outstanding technology and quality are selected through evaluation. Designated products are eligible for various policy benefits, including direct contracting and preferential purchasing in the public procurement market.
Jung Hak-soo, Head of the Daejeon Public Procurement Service, stated,“We will continue to support regional companies in entering the public procurement market and expanding sales channels through customized consulting for Excellent Procurement Product designation and by hosting public procurement consultation events such as Partnership Days.”
