The Daejeon Public Procurement Service (PPS) announced that, following the 4th Innovative Product Designation Review of 2025, products from seven local companies have been selected as Innovative Products.
The designation was granted based on evaluations focusing on technological innovation and the potential to improve public services, marking a significant step toward strengthening the technological competitiveness of regional small and medium-sized enterprises.
Among the selected products, F2B Co., Ltd., located in Nonsan, received recognition for its “Asphalt Fiber Reinforcement with Hot-Melt Adhesive Coating Layer.” The product features a coating layer that melts during asphalt paving to deliver strong adhesion, effectively enhancing bonding strength and preventing cracks and deformation. This innovation significantly improves the durability of road pavement and received high evaluation.
Standard Energy Co., Ltd., based in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, was also designated for its “Vanadium-Ion Battery Energy Storage System.” The product applies vanadium-ion battery technology with no risk of thermal runaway, offers long service life, and features a modular design that enables easy individual battery replacement and maintenance.
In addition, JB Solution Co., Ltd.’s “LCS Road Traffic Signal System for Accident Prevention,” and Nano Electronics Corp.’s “Main Snow-Melting System (EcoWay)” were also designated as Innovative Products.
Products designated as Innovative Products are registered on the PPS Innovation Marketplace, where they are eligible for direct contracting for up to six years (three years initially, with a possible three-year extension). They are also included in the PPS pilot purchase program, making entry into the public procurement market significantly easier and enabling access to various policy support measures.
Jung Hak-soo, Head of the Daejeon Public Procurement Service, stated, “We will continue to promote market access support activities, such as meetings with demand organizations and partnership days, to help local procurement companies grow through innovative products. We will actively support regional companies with innovative technologies so they can secure new market opportunities through public procurement.”
