Nano Electronics Corp. Selected as a “First Penguin Company” by KODIT

The Daejeon Startup Branch of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT) has selected Nano Electronics Corp., a developer and manufacturer of nanofiber-based surface heating elements, as a “First Penguin Company.”

KODIT designates startups with outstanding ideas and technological capabilities and strong growth potential as First Penguin Companies, providing customized, integrated financial and non-financial support to help them grow into global unicorn enterprises.

Nano Electronics Corp. is a nanomaterials technology company that has commercialized nano surface heating elements with up to three times higher heating efficiency and up to 89% power efficiency compared to conventional copper heating wires. The company’s technology is based on conductive heating elements fabricated using ultra-fine copper nanofibers produced through an electrospinning process.

The company has received international recognition for its technological excellence, winning the Innovation Award in the Energy Materials category at CES 2024 in the United States and being selected as a Top 20 Finalist at JEC World 2024 in France.
