More Deadly Roads.

According to the Korea Transportation Safety Authority, the fatality rate was 4.63 in frost/icy conditions (light ice), 3.76 times higher than in the snow conditions (1.23) and 3.3 times higher than in dry road conditions (1.41).

Too expensive.

Maintenance cost for current snowmelt systems is as high as the installation costs. In Korea, where there are 4 seasons, the costs for installation and maintenance will reach the same after 3 years. (Available 24 hours a day for 90 days) This is 9 times more expensive than our product.

PROBLEMS WITH ROAD SALT

You get
what you paid for.

There is a much cheaper way to keep roads clear of snow and ice: a salt brine. But according to a growing body of research, it has harmful environmental and health effects. It has killed or endangered wildlife in freshwater ecosystems according to the Environmental Protection Agency. It has also corroded roads and cars. If they had used the above solution, it should not be a  problem, except for the cost.
